The process of building a home can seem overwhelming, but here at Halifax Homes we believe in customer care that goes the extra mile. We offer superior customer care and communication to keep you abreast of the process and the timeline. Our process is outlined in 8 basic steps:

Contact our BOYL Sales Advisor for lot verification.
We must first be able to verify that we can build on your lot.

The lot verification is followed by the Initial Consultation.
During our first meeting we will need the homesite address, a plat map, and home plans if you have them.

Review the plans, land layout and condition by our Construction team.
A Halifax Homes' construction team member will review your homesite to better understand the land layout, tree removal, drainage, fill dirt, public utilities and what may be required to make your homesite buildable.

Approval of lot and plans by the Halifax BOYL team.
All of the necessary inspections and verifications will be confirmed by our construction team.

Interior and exterior design feature selections with our BOYL Sales Advisor.
At this point a meeting should be scheduled with our BOYL Sales Advisor to make both interior and exterior design feature selections, including appliances and flooring choices.

Lending and financing verification.
